2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition, seeking a direction to the respondent to consider and pass orders on his representation dated 26.10.2013 with regard to the insurance claim of his vehicle viz., Mahindra Tanker Lorry bearing Registration No.TN-52 X 8543.

3.According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the vehicle viz., Mahindra Tanker Lorry bearing Registration No.TN52 X 8543 and is engaged in the business of transporting acid. In the course of such business, on 26.10.2013, when the petitioner's vehicle was plying from Mettur to Karwar in Karnataka State, it was involved in an accident and was severely damaged. As the vehicle was insured with the respondent, the petitioner made a representation dated 26.10.2013 claiming insurance amount. 4.Heard Mr.V.V.Sairam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Manohar, learned standing counsel, who took notice for the respondent.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 26.10.2013 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
