O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for his contemptuous and wilful disobedience of the order passed in Crl.O.P.No.15029 of 2015 dated 19.06.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. On 01.08.2016, this Court passed the following order:- https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ "Mr.A.Manivannan, Special Sub Inspector of Police, Tirupathur Police Station,

Tirupathur, Vellore District, is present.

2. Today, when the matter is called, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner is not cooperating with the enquiry and therefore, the respondent-Police is not able to proceed with the enquiry.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is scared of going for the enquiry, because he was ill-treated earlier by the respondentPolice.

4. Since, this Court is monitoring the enquiry, the petitioner is directed to go in person and take part in the enquiry.

Call on 23.08.2016".

4. Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner appeared before the respondent-police for enquiry and the parties appeared to have arrived at a compromise.

In view of the above, this Contempt Petition is closed.
