This petition is filed to direct the respondent to register the complaint dated 27.08.2022 in pursuance of the order passed by the XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, in Crl.M.P.No.17528 of 2022 dated 20.10.2022.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate would submit that as per the direction of the learned XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet in Crl.M.P.No.17528 of 2022, FIR.No.2 of 2023 for the offences under Section 498 (A) of the IPC has been registered at All Women Police Station, Teynampet, Chennai.
3. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate that FIR has been registered as aforesaid, nothing survives for consideration in this petition. Therefore, this petition is dismissed as not necessary. No costs.
