Heard Mr.K.Raja, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr.V.Shanmuga Sunder, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 & 2;
Mr.P.P.Purushothaman, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 3 & 4 and perused the materials available on record.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that aggrieved over the work order issued by the third respondent, the appeal preferred before the first respondent dated 16.04.2018, has not been disposed of.
3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner would be satisfied if a suitable direction is issued to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the appeal of the petitioner would be disposed of in accordance with law.
5. In the light of the above submissions and also considering the facts of the case, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to dispose of the appeal of the petitioner dated 16.04.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, as expeditiously as possible.
6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There is no order as to costs.
