ORDER

The petitioner, who is an accused in Crime No.409/2014 for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 341, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) IPC and read with 3(1)(r)(a), 3(1)(s) and 3(2)(va) of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, seeks a direction to the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Cuddalore to consider and dispose of his bail application that will be filed by him under Section 439 of Cr.P.C. on the same day.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. Considering the nature of the prayer sought for and taking note of the fact that the petitioner is prepared to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

surrender before the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Cuddalore, there shall be a direction to the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Cuddalore to consider the bail application to be submitted by the petitioner along with his surrender before that Court, on the same day on merits and pass appropriate orders. The petitioner is directed to give advance notice to the Additional Public Prosecutor before the said court. The criminal original petition is ordered accordingly.
