Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to pass an order of writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to correct the name of the Street as "Ramanathan Street" instead of "Lakshmi Street" Kilpauk, Egmore Division, and the petitioner's name as "V.R.Hariram" instead of "V.K.Hariram" in the Town Survey Land Register maintained by the 2nd Respondent in respect of land in Survey No.91/114, Block No.9 of Egmore Division (Part - I). ORDER

The grievance of the petitioner is that in the computerized patta issued to the petitioner as concerning his property in Survey No.91/114, Block No.9 of Egmore Division (Part - I), the petitioner's name and the street name are wrongly given. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in the manual patta earlier issued, all the facts are correctly given which when translated into a computer patta both the street name and the name of the petitioner is changed by the Revenue Officials.

3.Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents and submitted that an enquiry is scheduled to take place on 10.05.2021 at 11.00 a.m. at the office of the second respondent.

4.The said statement of the learned Special Government Pleader is recorded.

5.In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the second respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide them a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of two (2) weeks from 10.05.2021.
