Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.01.2019 consequently direct the respondents 1 & 2 to rectify the petitioner's school certificates forthwith to enable the petitioner to apply for Civil Service Examination 2019.

By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 28.01.2019 and consequently direct the respondents 1 and 2 to rectify the petitioner's school
certificates forthwith to enable him to apply for Civil Service Examination 2019.
3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 28.01.2019 to the respondents to change his birth date as 25.03.1985 in the Educational Certificates, but, the same is yet to be disposed of by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.
4. Heard the learned counsel appearing on both sides.
5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that only the Directorate of Government Examinations, DPI Campus, Chennai has got jurisdiction.
6. However, the petitioner has not made him as a party in this writ petition.
7. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the petitioner to make one more representation in this regard to the Director of Government Examinations, DPI Campus, Chennai, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order and on receipt of copy of such representation, the Director of Government Examinations, DPI Campus, Chennai is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the persons interested in this regard and also affording them an opportunity of personal hearing, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of such representation. It is made clear that this Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the representation to be made by the petitioner.
8. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
