Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records in respect of Tender File No.2656/SCSII(1)/2012 dated 13.01.2012 passed by the first respondent and quash the same tender awarded to M/s.Royapettah Stationary and Printing and Allied Products Industrial Co-operative Society Limited, Royapettah, Chennai - 14 and also direct the first respondent to call for fresh tender for the supply of the Medical Education Application Forms and Prospectus and award the orders to the eligible tenderer. The impugned order states that the EMD received from unsuccessful firms are returned. The petitioner's firm M/s.Gunasundari Modern Art Printers is also one such unsuccessful firm.

2. In view of the fact that nine years have lapsed, the issue raised by the petitioner lost its relevance and thus, no further adjudication is required in the present writ petition.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
