ORDER

The petitioner / wife seeks transfer of I.D.O.P.No. 92 of 2024 pending on the file of the Principal District Court, Thanjavur, to the file of the Principal District Court, Salem.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that she is residing in her parents' house at Salem along with her two children and has no independent source of livelihood. Therefore, she seeks transfer of the proceedings to the Principal District Court, Salem.

3. The learned counsel for respondent raised objections stating that she used to threaten him through her family members. Hence, he stated that there is a life threat for him.

3. Considering the submissions made by both the learned counsel for the petitioner and respondent, to avoid further complications, this Court finds the reasons stated to be justifiable and is inclined to allow the transfer.

4. Accordingly, I.D.O.P. No.92 of 2024 pending on the file of the Principal District Court, Thanjavur, is withdrawn and transferred to the file of

the Principal District Court, Namakkal. The learned trial Judge is directed to issue notice to the respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter proceed with the matter in accordance with law.

5. Accordingly, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs. 17-06-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order RPP To
