(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The grievance made by the petitioner against the third respondent of having mis-disclosed her educational qualification https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
received the attention of the first respondent / Tamil Nadu State Election Commission, who, in turn, directed the second respondent / District Election Officer to hold an enquiry and send a report to the Commission. The third respondent is stated to be now the Mayor of the Municipal Corporation, Thiruppur. 2.We are surprised that though this direction was issued on 08.10.2014, no result has been communicated to the petitioner of the enquiry for 1 1⁄2 years. It certainly cannot take such a long period of time to find out as to what is the educational qualification of the third respondent and there was any misdeclaration of the same. 3.We, thus, direct the second respondent to take necessary action to send the report to the first respondent, if not already sent, within a maximum period of two (2) months from today and for the first respondent, to act in accordance with law, after notice to all concerned and communicate the result to the petitioner within a maximum period of two (2) months thereafter.
4.Writ Petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. No costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS-VII) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar sra To 1.Tamilnadu State Election Commission, No.208/2, Jawaharlal Nehru Road, Opp. To Koyambedu Bus Stand, Arumbakkam, Chennai.
