Considering the nature of relief that is prayed for, the Assistant Commissioner, HR & CE Department, Tiruppur is suo motu impleaded as the eighth respondent in this Writ Petition.

On a perusal of the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition and after hearing Mr.N.Ponraj, learned Counsel for the petitioner, the grievance of the petitioner seems to be that he is claiming the worship right in a particular temple. It is his claim that his forefathers were the ones who established the temple and they have particular rights of worship as well as conduct of ceremony etc. If that be so, it is for the first respondent to make an application under Section 63 of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959 before the eighth respondent and the eighth respondent shall consider the same in accordance with law and grant such rights as may be permissible under law to the petitioner.
3. The petitioner shall make an application to the eighth respondent 3/7
within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt/production of a webcopy of this order without waiting for a certified copy of this order and the same shall be considered in accordance with law after due notice to all the concerned and dispose of in the manner known to law within a period of twelve weeks therefrom and final orders be passed. It is made clear that the role of the Revenue Divisional Officer or the revenue authorities will come if only there is a law and order problem.
4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
