The defendant originally carried on restaurant business under the name 'STAR CHICKEN BRIYANI'. Upon noticing that the name had been changed to 'STAAR MAAMOOD BHAI BRIYANI', the plaintiff requested 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

Upon being granted permission, the plaintiff issued notice and filed affidavit of service dated 16.12.2025 enclosing the acknowledgement card evidencing delivery of notice on 12.12.2025. The defendant did not enter appearance thereafter.

2. The present application is for amendment of the plaint to reflect the current name of the defendant. Considering the aforesaid, this application is allowed as prayed for.
