ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The grievance of the petitioner is that the lake situated in S.No.370 of Sathuperi Village, Vellore Taluk under the control of the Public Works Department is sought to be encroached upon and despite the representations of the petitioner on various dates, no action has been taken.

2. We call upon respondent No.3 to take decision on the representations of the petitioner, after notice to all concerned within a maximum period of two months of the receipt of this order by a speaking decision.

3. Respondent No.2 to carry out the measurement as per the request made by respondent No.3 within one month of the receipt of this order to facilitate a decision by respondent No.3 as it appears from what is filed that despite the request, respondent No.2 has not taken any steps. The decision be communicated to the petitioner.

4. The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. No costs.
