O R D E R

The petitioner is stated to be the former hereditary Trustee of Arulmigu Vana Badrakaliamman Temple, Thekkampatt, Nellithurai Post, Mettupalayam.

2. According to the petitioner, the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department has not taken action to fill several posts and as such, the functioning of the temple is affected. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 10.9.2014 requesting the first respondent to take immediate action to fill up the posts. Since there was no follow up action taken, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader by placing reliance on the instructions given by the Commissioner of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department submitted that the third respondent has sent a proposal to the first respondent for filling up the posts indicated in the representation submitted by the petitioner.

4. The first respondent should ensure that the vacancies are filled up as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
