Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first and second 1/4

respondents herein to substitute the quarry license in petitioner's name from his father name, for quarrying rough stones in survey no.388 part, Bit B, to an extent of 1.58.0 hectares situated in Morattupalyam Village, Uthukuli Taluk, Tirupur till the license period over, forthwith petitioner representation dated 31.01.2022.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the first and second respondents to substitute the quarry license in the petitioner's name from his father name, for quarrying rough stones in survey no.388 part, Bit B, to an extent of 1.58.0 hectares situated in Morattupalyam Village, Uthukuli Taluk, Tirupur till the license period over. 2.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that subsequent to the writ petition, the licence has been transferred in the name of the petitioner till the lease period expired.

Therefore, nothing survives in this writ petition for 2/4

adjudication. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
