Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to grant ordinary leave for one month without escort to the detenue viz., Umai Babu @ Majeed, S/o.Yusuf, aged 48 years (convict No.17147) detained at Central Prison, Coimbatore. For Petitioner : Dr.S.Manoharan For Respondents : Mr.R.Muniyapparaj Govt. Advocate (Crl.Side)

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] On 29.06.2021, this Court passed the following order : "When the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.Muniyapparaj, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the representation given by Jasmine was considered by the respondents and the same was rejected by order dated 01.04.2021. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that Jasmine has not received the said order so far. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) is directed to satisfy this Court about the issuance of the order dated 01.04.2021 to Jasmine.

3. Post the matter on 06.07.2021.

In the meanwhile, a copy of the rejection order dated 01.04.2021, shall also be sent to Ms.Lakshmi, learned counsel for the petitioner, provided her email id is available."

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that a copy of the rejection order dated 01.04.2021 has been served on the learned counsel for the petitioner, which the learned counsel for the petitioner acceded.

In view of the above, this petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the impugned order dated 01.04.2021, if so advised. No costs.
