ORDER

This application has been filed seeking permission to appear and participate in the proceedings in O.P.No.254 of 2024 through Video Conferencing in view of her advanced age and restricted mobility.

2. The learned counsel for the applicant would submit that the applicant is

aged about 84 years and is a senior citizen suffering from age-related ailments. It is further submitted that owing to her advanced age, her mobility is severely restricted and she is not in a position to move independently without assistance and appear before this Court in person. Hence, the present application has been filed seeking permission to appear through video conferencing.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the applicant and also taking note of the advanced age and age-related ailments of the applicant, this Court is inclined to accept the request.

4. Accordingly, this application is disposed of permitting the applicant to appear and participate in the proceedings in O.P.No.254 of 2024 through video conferencing from her residence before this Court, in accordance with the Madras High Court Video Conferencing Rules, 2020, subject to the procedure prescribed therein.
