O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 01.06.2013 regarding grant of patta in Survey No.299/1 in Veerampakkam Village, Cheyyar Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District. 2.Mr.K.M.Ramesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that though the deceased petitioner had

given the representation as early as on 01.06.2013 for issuance of patta, the 3rd respondent has not passed any order so far.

3.Since the applicant is no more, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the legal representatives of the deceased petitioner/applicant would give a fresh representation to the 3rd respondent within three weeks time.

4.Ms.A.Madhumathi, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that in the event of the legal representatives of the deceased applicant viz., A.Bashira Bi, giving a fresh representation to the 3rd respondent, the 3rd respondent may be directed to consider and pass orders on the same within a period of twelve weeks. 5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, I give liberty to the petitioners, who are the legal representatives of the deceased applicant, to give fresh representation seeking for issuance of patta to the 3rd respondent within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such application being given by the petitioners to the 3rd respondent, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks thereafter.

6.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
