ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Respondents to release the medical reimbursement insurance amount to the petitioner.
2. Mr.K.Tippu Sulthan, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. The petitioner is working as an English Assistant Professor at Government Art College, Dharmapuri. It is the case of the petitioner that his representation dated 31.03.2022 submitted before the 3rd respondent seeking medical reimbursement towards treatment taken by his son at G.Kuppuswamy Nadiu Memorial Hospital, Nethaji Road, Pappanaickenpalayam, Coimbatore during the relevant period has not been considered till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.03.2022 and pass appropriate orders on the same within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner is an employee of the Higher Education Department and therefore, he has to submit appropriate application seeking reimbursement before the competent authority under the said Department. He further submitted that, the petitioner had already approached the 2nd respondent Insurance Company who, in turn, directed the petitioner to approach the Head of the Department for appropriate orders and therefore, this Court may issue a direction to the petitioner to approach the authority under the Higher Education Department which shall forward the claim to the District level committee who would thereafter pass appropriate orders.

In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to submit an appropriate application before the Principal of the Petitioner's College within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receipt of such application, the Principal of the Government Arts College, Dharmapuri is directed to forward the same to the District Level Committee within a period of
two (2) weeks thereafter. On receipt of the same, the District Level Committee shall pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two (2) weeks thereafter.
7. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
