This petition is filed to condone the delay of 80 days in filing the above Criminal Appeal.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent, who objected for allowing this petition.

3. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and on being satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay of 80 days in filing the appeal is condoned and the petition is ordered.
