Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 praying to punish the respondents for committing grave contempt and gross disobedience of the order passed by this Court in WMP.No.35684 of 2019 in W.P.No.34906 of 2019 dated 17.12.2019 and impose exemplary costs on the respondent.

O R D E R
Pursuant to the orders passed by this Court on 16.10.2020, the Contemnor was again present through video conferencing. 2.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Contemnor submitted that the order was passed on 16.10.2020 withdrawing the earlier letter dated 31.05.2019, wherein the third respondent in the writ petition was permitted to act as the in-charge Head of Department in the Department of Commerce. The learned counsel submitted that this order was passed in compliance with the interim order passed by this Court on 17.12.2019 in WMP.No.35684 of 2019. The learned counsel further submitted that the Contemnor did not intentionally violate the orders passed by this Court and immediately after this Court expressed its mind on 16.10.2020, on the very same date, the orders came to be passed withdrawing the earlier letter dated 31.05.2019. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in view of the order passed on 16.10.2020, the petitioner will now fight out his case in the main writ petition on merits.
4.In view of this subsequent development, no further orders can be passed in this contempt petition and it is left open to the parties to agitate their rights in the main writ petition.
