ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by Dr.ANITA SUMANTH,J.,) This petition is filed by the mother of S. Archana, who is said to be missing from the residence from 15.12.2016. None appeared for the petitioner, but the detenue was represented by counsel. 2.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the detenue was produced before us. She would state that her date of birth is 19.05.1995 and she is 22 years old. She left from her parental home on 15.12.2016 and got married to S. Prabhakaran, who is her classmate. Both of them are engineers and are currently employed at Chennai.

In the light of the above factual position, we are of the view that there is no illegal detention in this matter. The detenue has attained majority and has taken the decision to marry and live with S. Prabhakaran. Recording the above submission, this habeas corpus petition is dismissed.
