PRAYER : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to give Destitute/Deserted Wives Pension to the petitioner under the Destitute/Deserted Wives Pension scheme (DWP), based on the application dated 09.08.2012 given by the petitioner to the 2nd respondent. The grievances of the petitioner is that she made an application for grant of Destitute / Deserted wives pension under the Destitute/Deserted Wives Pension scheme (DWP). The application was submitted on 09.08.2012.

2. This Court is of the considered opinion that application submitted in the prescribed format along with all the relevant documents are to be considered by the competent authorities.

3. The learned Government Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the application submitted by the writ petitioner was incomplete and not supported with relevant documents. Thus, only if all relevant documents are submitted, the authorities will be in a position to consider the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

application submitted by the writ petitioner for grant of pension.

4. This being the factum, the petitioner is at liberty to submit an application afresh in the prescribed format along with all required documents and in the event of receiving any such complete application, the authorities competent is to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law.
