The petitioner/A2 in Crime No.37 of 2024, registered by the respondent police for the offences under Sections 294(b) and 307 of IPC and remanded to judicial custody on 07.02.2024 with respect to an occurrence which took place on 06.02.2024, seeks bail.

2.It is stated that A3 is in custody and A1 and A4 are still absconding. It is stated that the accused had attacked and threatened the defacto complainant who had been treated as out patient. However, it is also stated by the respondent that the petitioner is a History Sheeter.

3.Taking that factor into consideration and more particularly that, A1 and A4 are still absconding, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 11.03.2024 ata 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
