PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to implement the G.O.Ms.No.371, Finance (Pension) Department, dated 30.04.1986 by directing the respondent herein to increase the Dearness Allowance sanctioned upto 01.10.1987 and the same shall be treated as the Dearness Pay for the purpose of computation of the Pension for the petitioners herein.

ORDER

The limited prayer sought for in the present writ petition is for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to implement G.O..Ms.No.371, Finance (Pension) Department, dated 30.04.1986, for the purpose of increasing the Dearness Allowance sanctioned upto 01.10.1987, for the purpose of computation of pension.

2. When a similar prayer was sought for before this Court in W.P.No.26741 of 2006, dated 23.02.2006, the same was allowed, by observing that the said Government Order was implemented through a subsequent G.O.Ms.No.272.

3. Since G.O.Ms.No.371, dated 30.04.1986 has already been implemented, no effective orders can be passed in the prayer sought for in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
