ORDER

This Court, while allowing the writ petition in W.P.No.35496 of 2016, by order dated 25.10.2016, directed the respondents to reinstate the petitioner in any nonsensitive post where the Department feels that the petitioner can be accommodated.

2.The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the said order dated 25.10.2016 passed by this Court.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the order of this Court has been complied with by the respondents and that the 2nd respondent has passed an order dated 03.05.2018 reinstating the petitioner into service. He as also produced a copy of the proceedings dated 03.05.2018 issued by the respondent.

4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in this contempt petition and accordingly, the same is closed.
