This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records and to quash the proceedings in Crime No.78 of 2019 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Anti-Land Grabbing Cell, Central Crime Branch, Vepery, Chennai-7. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the First Information Report has been registered against the petitioners and two other accused for the offence of conspiracy, theft of confidential data and breach of trust under the Information Technology Act.

The investigation has to be completed without any interference to ascertain whether any cognizance of offence is made out or not. It is too pre-mature for this Court to arrive at a conclusion that the complaint is a malicious one. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
