This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to refrain from putting any stalls for the street vendors in front of the petitioner's property, namely, House, Ground and Premises bearing Door No.1, Kadappa Road, Bhavani Nagar Junction, Lakshmipuram, Chennai - 600 099, comprised in S.No.1474/1A2, Madhavaram Village, Madhavaram Taluk, Chennai District.

2. Learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents Corporation submitted written instructions of the Zonal Officer, Zone-III, Greater Chennai Corporation, Madhavaram, Chennai - 600 060 vide proceedings in Z.O.III.C.No./1447/2025 dated 03.03.2025, wherein it is stated as follows:

"It is informed that accordingly, the Kadappa Road, Lakshmipuram, Chennai - 600 099, was identified as Vending Zone within the limits of Zone-III, Greater Chennai Corporation. Further, there is no proposal for allotting a space for the hawkers in front of the petitioner's building at Door No.1, Kadappa Road, Bhavani Nagar Junction, Lakshmipuram, Chennai - 600 099 and no hawker will be allotted to carry out the hawking business in front of the petitioner's house."

In view of the above written instructions given by the Zonal Officer, the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
