ORDER

This Writ Petition is heard through Video-Conferencing, on account of the COVID-19 pandemic situation.

The petitioner has sought for a mandamus directing the respondent, who is the District Collector, Kancheepuram to consider his complaint dated 17.06.2013 and take appropriate action against the Tahsildar, Chengalpet, Revenue Inspector, Vandalur and the Village Administrative Officer, Vandalur for using abusive language and damaging his house. 3.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted the proceedings of the Tahsildar, Vandalur dated 28.08.2020 in Na.Ka.No.1225/2020/B1. In the above proceedings, it is stated that the petitioner, R.Dhanasekaran owned 0.02.0 ares in Survey No.200/1A1A2 in Vandalur Village. While constructing his house, he has encroached upon the Government poromboke land in Survey No.200/1B, while the said Survey No.200/1B was already given to the National Highways for road expansion. The petitioner R.Dhanasekaran is said to have died on 28.08.2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.

As the petitioner himself has encroached upon the

Government Poromboke land to an extent of 400 sq.ft. and constructed his house, the complaint given by him alleging that it was demolished and the officials used abusive language, was rejected by the Tahsildar, Vandalur. The said communication was also handed over to the daughter-in-law of the deceased petitioner on 10.09.2020.

If the parties are so aggrieved by the above order of rejection, it is open for them to file an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tambaram, within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of the rejection order.

6. As the prayer in the Writ Petition is only to consider the complaint, which has already been complied by the respondent, there is nothing survives for adjudication in the Writ Petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
