This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 982 days in filing the appeal CMA.SR32084 of 2021.

2. Learned counsel for the second respondent has not raised any serious objection for allowing this petition. However, he would submit that the petitioner is not entitled for any interest for the delayed period.

3. This Court is satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition.

4. This Court, after considering the submissions made by the respective counsels is inclined to allow this petition. Accordingly, this Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed as prayed for. However, it is made clear that for the delay period of 982 days, the petitioner /claimant is not entitled for any interest, in the event of any enhancement made by this Court.
