ORDER

The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents herein to pass orders on the representation dated 23.3.2015 made by the petitioner for issuing a circular/trade notice for fixing norms for levy of charges by console agent/freight forwarders on the basis of the trade facility No.24/2013 dated 08.08.2013, within a reasonable time.

Since the petitioner has sought for only a limited prayer to dispose of the representation pending from 23.3.2015, this Court, without going to the merits of the matter, accepting the limited prayer, directs the first respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
