ORDER

This petition has been filed by the father of the minor child by name Amudhan @ Amudhanilavan who is six years old for seeking permanent custody of the child and to appoint himself as guardian of the minor child. 1/3

2. The petitioner and the respondent are the father and mother of the minor child respectively. The child is in the custody of the respondent mother. During pendency of this proceedings the matter was referred to mediation and during the mediation process the parties arrived at some understanding between themselves and entered into an agreement.

3. When the matter is taken up today both the parties are present and admitted that they have entered into a settlement agreement between themselves voluntarily and affixed their signature in the settlement agreement without any coercion. In view of the settlement agreement entered into between themselves, it is submitted that this petition may be disposed in terms of the settlement agreement.

4. In view of the above, this Original Petition is disposed in terms of the Settlement Agreement dated 20.07.2023. The terms of the Settlement Agreement shall form part of the order.
