This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 247 days in filing the criminal appeal as against order dated 02.03.2024 made in S.T.C.No.5752 of 2024 passed by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate Fast Track Court-II, Egmore, Chennai.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record. Though notice was served to the respondent, there is no representation for the respondent either in-person or through learned counsel.
3. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay of 247 days is condoned and the petition is ordered.
