O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by S.Vimala, J.,) The present habeas corpus petition has been preferred by the petitioner challenging the detention order dated 10.01.2018 passed by the 2nd respondent in and by which the 2nd respondent detained the detenu, Rajkumar @ Raj, S/o.Thangaraj, aged about 22 years, branding him as a 'Goonda' under Section 3 (1) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 with a view to preventing him from acting prejudicial to the interest of public health and public order.

2. When the matter is taken up today, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submit that the detention order impugned above has been revoked by the Government. A copy of the order of revocation in G.O. Rt. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

No.915, Home, Prohibition & Excise (X) Department, dated 12.03.2018 is produced before this Court.

3. Recording the said revocation, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition and, accordingly, this habeas corpus petition is closed.
