ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed, challenging the order dated 03.03.2020 passed by the 3rd respondent rejecting the petitioner's application dated 22.02.2020 and quash the same and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to grant permission https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to the petitioner for conducting a function near Aavin milk booth at MMDA Colony, Arumbakkam, Chennai on 14.03.2020. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the reason assigned by the third respondent is illegal and contrary to the fundamental rights.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that already a same request was made by the petitioner herein was dismissed by this Court in W.P.No.6112 of 2020 dated 10.03.2020. Again the same request was made for the same purpose.

4.It is seen that after dismissal of the earlier Writ Petition, the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner. Now, in the present Covid 19 pandemic situation, the Writ Petition is not maintainable. Further the Tamil Nadu Government itself passed an order under Section 144 of Cr.P.C., not to conduct any public meetings and other gatherings. Therefore, at this stage, the prayer as such sought for in this Writ Petition cannot be considered. Accordingly, the present Writ Petition is dismissed.
