Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to grant permission to conduct cultural program in Selamboor Amman Festival, Ennamangalam Village, Anthiyur Taluk, Erode District Scheduled to be held on 6.5.2015 from 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm.

By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claims that he is the organizer of the temple festival relating to Selambooramman and Mariyamman Festival, situated at Ennamangalam Village, Anthiyur Taluk, Erode District and in connection with the conducting of the temple festival, he submitted an application on 27.04.2015 to the second respondent praying for proper permission to conduct cultural/dance and song https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

programme to be held on 6.5.2015. Since he has not been favoured with any response, he came forward to file this writ petition. 3.Heard the submissions of Mr.E.P.Senniyangiri, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Raj Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents. 4.This Court, without going into merits of the representation/application, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation/application dated 27.04.2015 in accordance with law and pass orders on or before 04.05.2015 and communicate the decision to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
