Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus, calling for the records of the 1st respondent by his order in Appeal No.A.6/5394/2013, dated 02.01.2015 and quash the same and to declare the Settlement Deed as null and void which is also finally cancelled by vide Doc No.4714/2014 under Section 23 of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, directing the 1st respondent to take possession of property from the respondents 3 and 4 and hand over the same to this petitioner.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to quash the order in Appeal No.A.6/5394/2013, dated 02.01.2015 passed by the first respondent and for consequential relief.

2. On 19.06.2018, at the request of the learned counsel appearing for the respective parties, the matter was directed to be posted before the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre for arriving at an amicable settlement.

3. Accordingly, the petitioner and the respondents 3 and 4 with their respective counsel, appeared before the Mediator on 25.06.2018 and on 20.08.2018, they have settled the matter among themselves, as per the terms mentioned in the Joint Compromise Memo, which is evident from the report of the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre.

4. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the the respective parties submitted that the parties have arrived at a settlement in respect of the dispute between them and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

5. Recording the same, the writ petition stands closed. The Joint Compromise Memo entered into between the parties shall form part of this order. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
