Prayer: Petition filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India, to direct the Principal District Judge, Chengalpet to dispose I.A.No.1 of 2022 in G.W.O.P.No.190 of 2021 within a time frame to be fixed by this Honourable Court.

ORDER

This application was originally filed on 16.02.2021 before the Family Court at Tiruppur where G.W.O.P.184 of 2021 was pending thereafter, by reason of orders passed by this Court in Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition Nos.268 and 305 of 2021, the proceeding was transfered to the file of the District Court at Chengalpattu.

2. The application was renumbered as I.A.No.1 of 2022 and GWOP.No.184 of 2021 was renumbered as GWOP. No.190 of 2021. The Sub Court had directed the petitioner to take notice to the respondent returnable by 23.03.2022.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on 23.03.2022, Mr.K.M.Anand had entered vakalat for the respondent. The reason for seeking urgent order is on account of the fact that a family function is due to fall on 8th and 9th of April 2022. 2/4

4. This Court has proceeded to pass orders hearing the respondent side only on account of the limited prayer that is sought for namely to permit the petitioner to have the presence of his daughter during the 80th birthday of her grand father.

5. The Principal District Judge, Chengalpattu is therefore directed to dispose of the said petition on the next hearing date or at best before 6th of April 2022, to at least consider the interim arrangements for sending the minor child with the father for attending the function.
