CRL MP No. 4791 of 2026 PRAYER To exempt the petitioner to surrender before the appellant court in C.A.No.200 of 2024 dated 06.11.2025 on the file of I Additional District and Sessions Court, Salem against the Judgment passed in C.C.No.200 of 2022 dated 30.07.2024 on the file of Judicial Magistrate No.1, Sankari.

ORDER

This matter is listed today under the caption "For Being Mentioned" at the instance of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

2. I have heard the learned counsel on both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is brought to the notice of this Court that, while the order dated 13.03.2026 passed in Crl.M.P.Nos.4790 & 4791 of 2026 in Crl.R.C.No.633 of 2026 granted suspension of sentence and exempted the petitioner from surrender, the Court before which the bond is to be executed was erroneously mentioned as "the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thirupathur", instead of "the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sankari", due to an inadvertent typographical error. Accordingly, paragraph No.7(i) in the order dated 13.03.2026 passed in Crl.M.P.Nos.4790 & 4791 of 2026 in Crl.R.C.No.633 of 2026 is modified as follows:

"7 (i) The petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only), with two sureties, each for a likesum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sankari."

4. In view of the above, the Registry is directed to carry out the necessary corrections by substituting the revised para in place of the original and to issue a fresh order copy forthwith.
