ORDER

Seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to appoint the 2nd respondent or any other agency to re-investigate the matter in Crime No.286 of 2012 dated 05.02.2014 on the file of the 3rd respondent, the petitioner has come up with this petition. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents and perused the material placed on record.

3.It is seen that the police have completed the investigation in Crime No.286 of 2012 and filed a closure report before the Tahsildar, Perambur-Purasawakkam Taluk, Chennai, on 05.02.2015. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.In view of the above, the Tahsildar, Perambur-Purasawakkam Taluk, Chennai, is directed to forward all the reports in Crime No.286 of 2012 on the file of Kodungayur Police Station to the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai. Liberty is given to the petitioner to approach the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, and file a protest application in accordance with law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Vinay Tayagi V. Irshad Ali Alias Deepak and others reported in 2013(5) SCC 762.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
