O R D E R

The prayer sought for in this writ petition is to direct the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.08.2015 forwarded by the second respondent by his letter No.5622/2015-A1, dated 24.08.2015 to retransfer him from the District Treasury, Thiruvallur and post him as Office Superintendent in the office of the District Treasury, Kancheepuram.

2.According to the petitioner, he is physically challenged person with 86% disability. He was selected by the TNPSC to the post of Accountant in the Treasuries Department in the year 2009 and he was posted at District Treasury, Kancheepuram. Subsequently, he was transferred to Sub Treasury, Kancheepuram. In the year 2015 he was promoted as Sub Treasury Officer/Superintendent and transferred to

District Treasury, Tiruvallur and also joined duty on 06.05.2015 .

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that he is facing serious difficulties at the new place for his movements in the wheel chair and walking with crutches. Despite the same, he has to take care of his aged father who is about 70 years, so the petitioner gave representations to the first respondent through proper channel on 03.06.2015 and 17.08.2015 seeking to transfer from the Office of the District Treasury, Thiruvallur to District Treasury, Kancheepuram. Since his representations were not considered, the petitioner filed the present writ petition. 4.Heard the submissions of Mr.S.Arunachalam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and M/s.M.L.Mahendran, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 5.

This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 03.06.2015 and 17.08.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.

6.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
