measuring about 10 acres on the petitioner's representation dated 05.01.2018.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 05.01.2018 seeking to provide water supply connection to the petitioner's premises bearing Door No.147, Sriperumbudur High Road, Bharathi Nagar comprised in Survey No.377/A1, situated at Kolathur Village, Kattankolathur Panchayat, Chengalpattu Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the application dated 05.01.2018 submitted by the petitioner and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date

of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already provided water supply connection to the petitioner.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
