..Respondent Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to pay interest of 10% on the arrears of retirement benefits paid to the petitioner i.e. Rs.25,22,801/- on 30.06.2012 and Rs.6,77,474/- on 18.06.2013 and other arrears paid to the petitioner belatedly for the delayed period from 1.1.1993 to 30.06.2012 within a stipulated time. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent herein to pay interest of 10% on the arrears of retirement benefits paid to the petitioner i.e. Rs.25,22,801/- on 30.06.2012 and Rs.6,77,474/- on 18.06.2013 and other arrears paid to the petitioner belatedly for the delayed period from 1.1.1993 to 30.06.2012 within a stipulated time.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr. Ravi Shanmugam, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that for the very same relief, the petitioner has filed another writ petition, in which relief was granted.

Accordingly, this writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
