ORDER

Seeking to quash the case in Crime No.101 of 2014 pending investigation on the file of the first respondent police, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent police.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent submitted that the investigation in Crime No.101 of 2014 was completed and final report was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.2, Vandavasi, but, as there was no Presiding Officer in the said Court, the final report was returned to the police. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has produced the original final report which bears the date and seal of the learned Judicial Magistrate Court as 16.06.2014.

4.Under such circumstances, the first respondent police is directed to re-present the final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.2, Vandavasi and the In-charge Magistrate (Judicial https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Magistrate, Cheyyar), is directed to take the same on file and proceed with the matter in accordance with law. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
