O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent not to harass the petitioner.

2. The case of the petitioner is that based on the complaint lodged by one Jayanthi, the respondent police are frequently calling the petitioner and harassing her. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that one Jayanthi has lodged a complaint as against this petitioner before the second respondent police. Only for the purpose of enquiry, the petitioner was called and absolutely, there is no intention for the respondent to harass the petitioner.

4. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is constrained to pass the following order:- (i) The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the enquiry.

(ii) The respondent police are directed to conduct the enquiry in accordance with law, without harassing the petitioner.

5. The criminal original petitions are disposed of accordingly.
