Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 6th respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.01.2018 and consequently issue suitable direction to the 6th respondent herein to take appropriate legal action against the 9th respondent at the earliest point of time. ORDER
The prayer sought for in the present petition is to direct the 6th respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.01.2018 and consequently issue suitable direction to the 6th respondent herein to take appropriate legal action against the 9th respondent
2. Heard both sides and perused the documents available on record.
3. It is seen that the petitioner has given representation to the respondents on 31.01.2018 alleging the the Inspector of Police, Arni Town Police Station, Arni, Arni Taluk, who is the 9th respondent herein had unnecessarily foisted a false case against the petitioner's son without having any valid reason and apprehension, due to which, the petitioner's son had committed suicide leaving a suicide note. Since the 7th respondent/ Deputy Superintendent of Police, Arni, Arni Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District did not take any action against the 9th respondent, he preferred this writ petition seeking direction to the 6th respondent to take action against the 9th respondent.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the 6th respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.01.2018 and shall pass orders on merits and in accordance with law by giving due opportunity to both the parties within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
