This petition is filed to condone the delay of 24 days in filing the appeal.

Heard Mr.M.Krishnamoorthy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.T.Meganathan, learned counsel for respondent 6. Though respondents 1 to 5 have been served and affidavit of service to that effect has been filed before this Court, none appears for respondents 1 to 5.

The delay is only 24 days. Having been satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition and since there are no serious objections, the delay of 24 days in filing the appeal is condoned. Accordingly, the petition stands ordered.
