[Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J.] Petitioner seeks a direction to second respondent to produce the person and body of the petitioner's daughter THAMILSELVI, a minor girl aged about 16 years before this Court and handed over with her custody.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondents 1 and 2.

3. Second respondent has produced the detenue/missing girl by name Thamilselvi, daughter of petitioner.

4. On enquiry, she informs of having gone to Tirutani since she apprehended that she would be compelled into marriage, although she was only 16 years and studying +1. The father of the girl, who is also present, states that the petitioner is not of intent to marry off the girl and though there was a proposal, he has rejected the same on the ground of age and lack of means. The detenue viz., Thamilselvi informs her intent to return to the parental home.

5. Recording the above position, this Habeas Corpus Petition shall stand closed.
