ORDER

This Criminal Original petition has been filed seeking for a

direction to the 1st respondent to defreeze the bank account of the petitioner viz., Account No.50100466383781 standing in the name of the petitioner with the 2nd respondent.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the bank account of the petitioner was freezed in the course of investigation in Crime No.82 of 2023 on 30.01.2024 and it was in formed to the learned Judicial Magistrate I, Poonamallee on the very same day.

In the light of the above submission, it is seen that the mandate under Section 102 of Cr.PC has been followed in this case. Hence, this Court cannot issue a direction to the respondent to defreeze the account. It is left open to the petitioner to file an appropriate application before the Court below and seek for the remedy and on such filing, the Court below shall deal with the same on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass orders as expeditiously as possible.

This criminal Original petition is disposed of in the above terms.
