By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner claims to be in charge of the festival relating to Sri Kongalamman Temple, Nallagoundenpalayam, ParamathiVelur Taluk, Namakkal District. He submitted an application on 23.4.2015 to the respondent seeking permission to conduct the cultural folk dance on 27.5.2015 and since, he was not favoured with any response for the same, he has come forward with the present writ petition.
3. Heard the submissions of Mr.N.Umapathi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondent.
4. This court, after considering the limited scope of relief sought for, without going into the merits, directs the respondent to consider the representation dated 23.4.2015 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders on or before 22.5.2015 and communicate the decision to the writ petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
